Q. What Is Your Driving Force or Inspiration of Your Practice?

Dance education, folk dances of different countries and peoples, and various creative dancing classes.

Q. What is a Teaching Artist?
Describe the Teaching Artist You Would Like to Become in Ten Years.

An educator who gets along with students at school and teaches them how to express their creative ideas with their bodies, and a person who expresses one’s own hidden self through dance.

Q. What is the Metaphor, the Right Word, for your Practice?
And Why?

“My authentic self.” Dancing is about recognizing one’s own body with attention to it, moving the body through engagement in various movements, and breathing together with someone else and the surrounding environment. In doing so, one discovers one’s own “authentic self.”

Q. What Do Colleagues Mean to You?

People with whom I can express movements together. People who can create diverse movements by using given rules and space.
