Jaydri Mi Young Moon. An actor, a teaching artist in theater arts, a president of Small Play Artist, and an arts organizer. Working as an independent performing artist, I enjoy creative work and hope to meet both children and adults through my creative process and to play with them.
For my creative work, eight-year-old and four-year-old sons are my inspiration. For my educational practice, stories of people I meet are my driving force. (Because everyone has their own story.)
A teaching artist is a person who opens up the process of creative work and enjoy the process itself.
A teaching artist I want to be in ten years is the one who is capable of creating a network of creative activities and continuing educational practices.
Taking a fresh look at something.
Someone that I can have fun together with and knows how to have fun. They are people who learn from fun and embrace, apply, and develop it.
